Juvéderm Treatment Details
Juvéderm is a non-surgical treatment that takes about 30 minutes. If the patient desires, the doctor will first numb the areas that will be treated. He will then use a syringe to inject the smooth Juvéderm gel into the trouble areas. The smoothing and plumping of facial lines are seen immediately, with the desired results usually achieved in one treatment. After the treatment, the patient can immediately resume normal activities.
Juvéderm Recovery
Most patients experience only mild discomfort after a Juvéderm treatment, with some initial soreness where the Juvéderm gel has been injected. There may be mild swelling or firmness as well, though it typically subsides in a week or less. Some patients have experienced bruising as a result of the treatment, though this is rare, and easily covered by makeup. Overall, there is little to no downtime as a result of a Juvéderm treatment. Patients can return to work immediately, and can resume regular exercise within a day or two.
