“Rhinoplasty is one of my favorite operations,” says Dr. Krau. “While the nose is relatively small in size,
it is complex in terms of interrelated structures, making rhinoplasty a technically challenging surgical
procedure.

To help

his rhinoplasty consultations, showing patients the changes he can realistically bring about. “I find it to
be a very powerful communication tool. Although surgery cannot be 100 percent predictable, I
certainly strive to make every operation as exact to what we predict on the computer, hence the importance
of detailed pre-surgical preparation.
I always aim for precision and don’t consider a surgery
complete until I achieve what I had set out to accomplish for the patient.”.
