During a consultation, Dr. Krau will examine the facial features and implement an appropriate surgical plan to help meet the patient's needs. Based on your individual anatomy and desired outcome, either a standard facelift ("rhytidectomy") or mini-facelift may be performed. Typically, incisions are made within the hairline, or along and above the ear, extending down around the lobe and ending in or below the hairline behind the ear. Dr. Krau can then tighten the subcutaneous layers and neck muscles, lift and re-drape the facial skin, and remove excess skin.
Dr. Krau can also combine other complementary facial procedures for Miami, Bal Harbour, and Aventura face lift. Many patients opt for nose surgery ("rhinoplasty") to be performed in combination with the face lift procedure for optimal rejuvenation results.
